In addition to regulate the pH level while it nourishes plants with silicon. The shortage of silicon can be a disadvantage in hydroponic cultivation as silicates are poorly soluble. It is therefore difficult to give enough silicon plant. GHE pH Up is enriched with silicon in soluble form.
