Jiffy pots are manufactured from Canadian sphagnum peat moss and wood pulp, and they come pre-formed and ready for planting. These seed starting pots measure approximately 2.25" diameter square across the top, and approximately 2.25" deep. Jiffy peat pots are the ideal choice for indoors seed starting as well. The soft walled peat pots allows plant roots to naturally air prune as they emerge through the pot. 2.25" square Jiffy peat pots will all but eliminate transplant shock because the plant does not need to be removed from the pot. Simply bury the pot and all and your transplanting is done.

How to use the Jiffy block:

Place the blocks in a planting container or pot of appropriate size.
Soak the block in lukewarm water, wait for it to swell and pour out the excess water.
Sow seeds or plant cuttings and place them in a bright place.
